About the event
This 2-hour practice inspired by the Sharat Arora method of the Himalayan Iyengar Yoga center in Dharamkot (india) is based on an in-depth practice of asanas (yoga postures) characterized by:
>The attention paid to the precise and rigorous alignment of the different parts of the body in space
>The organization of postures in sequences
>The use of supports (straps, bricks, blankets, chairs, bolsters, etc.)
>A specific practice of inverted postures
By focusing on the foundations of each posture, this sequence focused on standing postures and back bends, aims to go deeper in their understanding and execution, to offer everyone the opportunity to discover or refine the practice while being accompanied, corrected and adjusted if necessary.
Standing postures are very important for grounding, they make the legs strong, increase general vitality, improve blood circulation, coordination and balance. Backbend postures, on the other hand, are energizing, great for the back, essential for opening up the rib cage and preparing you for deep breathing. Practicing these asanas will keep your vertebrae and intervertebral discs healthy.
