The focus of this Yin Yang session will be the opening of the pelvis because the groin is the place where our body stores all the emotions that we forbid ourselves to experience: both the negative and the positive. It is also said that the Iliac Psoas is the trash can of the body!

The pelvis is the area of the second energy center (Swadhisthana chakra). By working on the iliopsoas muscle (which provides the link between the pelvis and the spine) we detoxify this area and evacuate stagnant energy, including emotional memories. The pelvis is also the area linked to our family and childhood. Working with these postures over the long term can therefore harmonize your relationships with parents, the capacity for forgiveness, acceptance and listening.

Course of the session:

The pelvic opening process will begin with Yin postures, a deep stretching practice that goes beyond muscle flexibility and delves into the tension created around the joints, specifically targeting facial tissue and other connective tissues. The poses are held for a long time to allow the connective tissues to release tension and revive joint mobility. Yin Yoga is an excellent style of yoga to complement any physically demanding exercise or lifestyle.

Ideal for centering and preparing the body, we will slide the slowness of Yin towards the Yang energy of Vinyasa in the path of opening the hips. The flowing and dynamic sequences, synchronized with the rhythm of the breath, will lead to relaxation and the state of being of Yoga Nidra (meditative relaxation)...
